Do we have a booking App?

Use Pelican Bay Pod Play app to access our booking and reservation system. Pod Play is a third-party reservation software used to access all Events, Open Play, Activities, Lessons and Clinics at Pelican Bay Community Park Racquet Facility

Do I need to sign a liability waiver? If so, where do I do that?

Yes. You will need to sign a liability waiver upon creating a free account in our booking system.

How do I create an account?

Proof of residency is needed to qualify for certain memberships ie. Pelican Bay resident, Collier County resident or Non-Collier County resident.

Once signed up, you will have created a membership number that will allow you to sign up and play. Please go to the PodPlay app

Why do I need to create an account?

Access to play is given only to those who have a membership.

What should I do in case of a medical emergency at the facility?

In case of an emergency, dial 911 immediately. For cardiac emergencies, Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are available by the restrooms near the tennis and pickleball courts.

What are the hours of operation?

Tennis Play begins at 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM.

Can others use Pelican Bay’s tennis and pickleball courts when they are not occupied?

Yes, Pelican Bay’s designated tennis and pickleball courts may be used by others when they are not occupied. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Which tennis and pickleball courts are designated for Pelican Bay members and which are available for others?

Tennis Courts: Courts 19–21 is designated for Pelican Bay members, while Courts A–E are available for use by Park Members and Non-Members. Pickleball Courts: Courts 7–19 are designated for Open Play and court 20 will be used as a Challenge Court during Open Play hours. Courts 13-20 will be used for Pickleball Park Court reservations.

Where can I park?

Parking is available next to the tennis courts at the facility. Biking is also encouraged and bike racks are provided on the property. Please note that parking is not permitted along Hammock Oak Drive.

What type of surface do the pickleball and tennis courts have?

The Park racquets facility consists of 8 sub-irrigated lighted hydro-grid tennis courts, and 20 Nova Crylic pickleball courts that combines best-in-class facilities, programs, services and experiences unmatched by any other facility in the area.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is designed to free up courts and spaces for our community, ensuring everyone has a chance to enjoy them. You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before the start time without any charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time will be charged the full reservation price. Programs and Events: Cancellation policies for programs and events may vary, so please review the event details carefully before signing up. All applicable charges will be applied to your credit card at the time of cancellation. Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth and accessible experience for all!

What are the minimum age requirements?

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult for tennis and pickleball.

How many points do you play to in pickleball?

Games are played to 11 points, and you must win by 2 points.

How does the waitlist work?

When a spot becomes available in a session, everyone on the waitlist will be notified. The first person to accept the open spot will be added to the session.

How can we purchase tennis balls and pickleballs?

Pickleballs and Tennis Balls are available for sale at our instant retail centers.

Do you offer memberships?

Yes! We offer tennis and pickleball memberships for both Collier County residents and non-residents.

How do I book a lesson with a coach?

When booking a court, use the 'Coach' filter to view available times with coaches. Select your preferred coach and time, then reserve the court to book your lesson.

Do you host pickleball tournaments?

Yes, we host pickleball tournaments. For information on upcoming events, please check the Events tab in the Forum app. If you’re interested in hosting a tournament at Forum, please inquire for more details.

Are restrooms available at the facility?

Yes, restrooms are available on the west side of the pavilion and on the north side of the tennis building.

Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed at the facility.

Do I need to have my own paddle?

No, you don’t need to bring your own paddle. Demo paddles are available at reception for $5, and new Joola paddles can be purchased on site.

Can I pause my membership?

Memberships can not be paused. You can cancel and rejoin if you would like.

Do I need a reservation to play?

Yes, everyone is required to reserve a tennis or pickleball court in advance. Reservations can be made easily online through our booking app.

Can I reserve a Pickleball court in advance?

Yes, we require registration for courts to be made in advance before playing at our facility.

Can I coach or host a clinic on site?

Outside coaches must be approved by management to host a clinic or other event.
